Ka Hsaw Wa is Co-Founder & Director of Earth Rights International (ERI), a group challenging transnational
corporate investments that exploit Burma's resources and turn a blind eye to human rights violations in the
name of development.

- February 13: Alain Dubos
Alain Dubos was born in Tunisia and trained in Greco-Roman studies before pursuing a career in medicine.
In 1978 he joined Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) and practiced in Thailand, later becoming
vice president of the organization.
